While we don’t always know what the future holds🤷♀️, we can be sure of several things:
1. God will bring His plans to pass.
✨God will bring His plans to pass. In the middle of Job’s messy story, after he lost all his children, flocks of animals, and servants, he makes a confident declaration: God will complete everything He has in mind for Job. No setback, detour, heartbreak, or loss can keep God’s plans from being accomplished.
2. God has good plans for us.
✨God has good plans for us. We don’t often get to see the full plan God has in mind for us. Scripture says that GOD KNOWS the plans He has for us and that those plans are good. We can trust that even when we don’t understand the story that’s unfolding, God is still in control, still working behind the scenes on our behalf.
3. God loves us too much to abandon the work He began in us.
✨God loves us too much to abandon the work He began in us. His purpose for our lives will be accomplished, because He loves us. He never forsakes the work of His hand, even when we make mistakes or experience hardship. God is faithful.
4. Detours do not derail us.
✨Detours do not derail us. God is bigger than anything we face. He is more than able to keep us through times of uncertainty. He can work all things together for our good, even the things that the devil or other people meant for harm. If He allows it in our lives, He intends to use it for our good and for His glory.
