Calling all Christian women who want to grow in their intimacy with God!
If you’ve ever felt the tension between wanting to make plans but not being sure what God’s plans are, this post is for you. 💕
As you plan your year and step into the days ahead, let these simple prayers guide your heart and frame your plans.
We often overthink how we approach goals and how we strive to accomplish or fear getting it wrong.
Rather than focusing on “getting it right” and figuring out the perfect path, lean on God each step and trust He’s guiding and helping each step of the way!
He has great plan in store and it’s not all on your shoulders to make it happen. He wants to do it all with you, day by day 💕
Let’s pray over the year ahead
These are things I’ve prayed to help me refocus on God and lean on Him when I’m tempted to rely on my own strength or understanding:
Lord, help me to seek You first this year.
Matthew 6:33 – Seek first His kingdom and righteousness by prioritizing time with Him and seeking to do life His way.

Lord, please guide me as I seek You daily.
Psalm 37:23 – God has promised to order our steps. Asking Him to guide gives us confidence when we fear taking the wrong step.

Lord, help me surrender my plans to You.
James 4:13-15 – We don’t know the future, but God does. As we prayerfully make plans, let’s leave room for God to change them.

Lord, let Your will be done in my life.
Luke 22:42 – God reveals His will through Scripture, but obedience isn’t always easy—that’s why we pray for help to obey, and to trust when we don’t understand.

Lord, help me to show up faithfully.
Colossians 3:23 – No matter what decisions we make or what we do this year, let’s do it all with diligence and faithfulness to glorify God.

We don’t have to have every step all figured out this year. God is guiding and helping us each day. Let these prayers draw you closer to Him as you give Him your fears and trust Him with the outcome of your plans.
